WHY? |

WHO? Student Member: A dentist eligible for membership in this Association who is engaged full-time in an advanced training course of not less than one (1) academic year’s duration in an accredited educational facility may make application for student membership to the Board of Trustees through his component society or A pre-doctoral student of a dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association and located within the State of Tennessee who is classified as a member of the American Student Dental Association is eligible for membership as a student member of the Tennessee Dental Association and may make application for student membership directly to this Association. Office Auxiliary Member:
A person not eligible for any other type of membership in the Tennessee
Dental Association and its component societies, who is employed in a
setting delivering dental care, and, at the time of application, is
employed or supervised by an active or life member of the Tennessee Dental
Association and corresponding component society, and who has not met the
educational requirements for licensure as a dentist anywhere in the United
States shall be classified as a Dental Office Auxiliary Member of the
Association and corresponding component society upon application to and
approval by the component dental society. This membership has a separate
membership application
and is only a member of the TDA and the local
dental society. |
